119th PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY AND 22ND MIGRANT WORKERS DAY CELEBRATION


SEOUL, 12 January 2017 - The Philippine Embassy in Seoul wishes to inform all Filipinos in Korea that it will be organizing Bayanihan sa Korea 2017 in celebration of the 119th Philippine Independence Day and 22nd Migrant Workers Day.

 We invite everyone to join us on 11 June 2017, Sunday, in Seoul for a day of fun and fellowship. As in the past, the event will feature guest celebrities from the Philippines as well as different cultural presentations by the different local Filipino talents. On-site services, such as labor counseling, medical services, and financial and remittance promotion, will also be available.

The venue and other details will be made known to the public once the Embassy has finalized the arrangements.

Public Service Advisory from Pag-IBIG Fund and SSS-Seoul

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public that the Pag-IBIG Fund South Korea Member Services Desk and SSS–Seoul will be temporarily unable to accommodate walk-in clients on 25 January 2026 due to an official onsite service in Busan. Both services will resume regular operations on 26 January 2026.
