2026 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC)

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul joins the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) on March 1-31, 2026.

The 2026 NWMC’s sub-theme “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!” reaffirms that women’s leadership is a fundamental part of Filipino identity.  Echoing the leadership of pre-colonial Babaylans in the Philippines, women today play a crucial role in driving societal growth and their full participation is indispensable to achieving sustainable progress.  The 2026 NWMC aims to showcase women’s leadership and contributions, promote gender-responsive programs and policies as well as strengthen multi-sectoral collaboration and accountability.
