B. Donations in kind
Cash donations offer the most flexibility for the assisting agencies, since these will allow them to purchase items tailored to the specific needs of those affected by the typhoon. For those who prefer to send donations in kind, however, the following shows a list of some of the documents that should be submitted to the Department of Social Welfare and Development, in three copies each, at least two weeks before the arrival of the items in order to facilitate the issuance of the certification for duty-free release of foreign donation:

1. Certificate of Deed of Donation duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, with the accompanying certificate as to fitness of food and medicine for consumption
2. A separate duly notarized Deed of Acceptance by the recipient
3. Copy of valid and subsisting License/Accreditation/Registration Certificate issued by DSWD
4. Shipping documents such as original and/or duly certified true copy of the Bill of Landing Packing List
5. Duly notarized Plan of Distribution certified and endorsed by the DSWD Regional Office
6. In case of medicines, a certification from the Department of Health that the commodities are allowed for distribution and use
7. Duly notarized distribution report on latest shipment, certified correct by the concerned DSWD Field Office
8. In case of relief items other than food and medicines, proof of prior agreements or approved arrangements with appropriate government agencies

While the generosity of donors is greatly appreciated, kindly refrain from sending clothes.
