ADVISORY ON CONTINUING HEATWAVE IN KOREA

The Filipino community in Korea is reminded to observe safety precautions during the summer heatwave to prevent heat-related illnesses and/or exhaustion. A heatwave is an extended period of hot weather relative to the expected conditions of the area at that time of year, which may be accompanied by high humidity.

Drink plenty of water, go to a cool place when you feel nausea, dizziness, or headache, and constantly check the news for heatwave warnings or updates are among the ways our community can keep safe during the heatwave.
