ADVISORY ON HEAT STRESS


The Philippine Embassy in Seoul hereby announce to the public about the continuing heat wave warning and advisory in the various areas in Korea from the Korea Meteorological Administration (https://web.kma.go.kr/eng/weather/forecast/notice.jsp).

Further, the Ministry of Employment and Labor also issued guidelines to prevent heat-related illness in a heat wave (33°C or higher) condition in work establishments.

To prevent heat illness, the Embassy encourages all Filipinos to:

• Bring and drink cool and clean water, inside and outside workplaces (at least 1 pint of water per hour is needed)

• Use break period to rest and cool oneself in shaded areas if humidity is high

• Use proper attire and head covering to protect oneself from heat
