ADVISORY ON RETURNED PASSPORTS AT THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN SEOUL

The Embassy wishes to inform the public that in order to avoid any penalties with the Korean Immigration Service (KIS) on reporting requirements for new passports, passport applicants who opted for delivery service of their new passport and have not yet received their passports within 60 days from their date of application are advised to check with the Philippine Embassy if their passports were returned by the Korean courier service Ilyang Logis due to delivery issues.

Concerned applicants may contact the Embassy's consular hotline at +8210 9385 0535 to inquire if their passports have been returned to the Embassy and to undertake necessary arrangements to claim said passports. For ease of reference, applicants are kindly requested to provide their full name and date of application.

Passport applicants are further reminded that passports which remain unclaimed (6) six months from the date of issuance will automatically be cancelled under Philippine passport regulations.

The public's cooperation on this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
