Advisory: Resumption of Entry of EPS


The Philippine Embassy in Seoul welcomes the announcement of Korea's Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) that the processing for entry of Employment Permit System (EPS) workers from all sending countries will resume before the end of November 2021, subject to pre- and post-entry measures such as vaccination, PCR testing, and other public health protocols.

Relative to this, the public is advised to await the official announcement and guidance from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), the Human Resource Development Service (HRD) - PH EPS Center, which are the designated EPS focal agencies for Philippine EPS matters, and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines to be informed of the detailed entry procedures and requirements covering EPS workers that will be issued accordingly. LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
