Alamat, Awit, Tumbang Preso, Atbp.: An Afternoon of Pinoy Games, Songs and Stories
The Philippine Embassy invites the parents and children of multicultural families to an afternoon of fun and activities on August 31, 2008 at the Conference Room of the Philippine Embassy, from 2pm to 4pm.
Entitled "Alamat, Awit, Tumbang Preso, Atbp.: An Afternoon of Pinoy Games, Songs and Stories," the activity aims to reunite children of multicultural families with their Filipino heritage. The event promises an afternoon of meaningful exchange as select speakers from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts share with your children the same stories we grew to love and cherish, the same songs we sang in our backyards, and the same games we played in our childhood.Light refreshments will be served. Because of the limited space available, the program can accommodate only the first 20 children to register.
