ANNOUNCEMENT: NOTICE OF RERB HEARING ON 17 APRIL 2023

To All Interested Parties:

Please be notified that the Resident Election Registration Board (RERB) of the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, South Korea will convene at the 2F Conference Room, Philippine Embassy on April 17, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. to hear the applications for registration, certification, reactivation, correction of entries or change of name, change of address, transfer, recapture and other types of applications filed with the Philippine Embassy from 09 December 2022 to 31 March 2023.

Any interested party who would like to interpose any objection to the list may file their opposition in writing addressed to the RERB of the Philippine Embassy in Seoul at 80 Hoenamu-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, 04346.

The written opposition may be filed via email to seoul.pe@dfa.gov.ph or consular@philembassy-seoul.com. The last day to file oppositions is on 10 April 2023.

The List of Applicants subject to the RERB Hearing on 17 April 2023 is attached to this Notice.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention. The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:

THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN SEOUL PARTICIPATES IN THE OBSERVANCE OF THE 30TH GIRL CHILD WEEK, 22 -28 MARCH 2026

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul joins the celebration on the Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week, or “Girl Child Week” from 22-28 March 2026. In accordance with Proclamation No. 759, March 6, 1996, the fourth week of March is celebrated as “Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week”. The observance also complements the annual National Women’s Month Celebration every March.
