BRING HOME A FRIEND TO THE PHILIPPINES


The Department of Tourism (DOT) is reviving the "Bring Home A Friend to the Philippines" campaign program that aims to encourage all Filipinos and expats residing in the Philippines and Filipinos living abroad to help promote tourism by inviting their foreign friends to come and visit the Philippines.

This campaign is a referral incentive program wherein three (3) sponsors, Filipino or Philippine expats who invite foreigners to visit the Philippines, will have the chance to win a condominium unit from Megaworld, a brand new Toyota Vios, or Duty Free certificate worth Php200,000.00. Furthermore, three (3) invitees will likewise have the chance to win exciting prices namely roundtrip international air tickets to the Philippines together with roundtrip domestic air tickets and hotel accommodations all for two (2) persons to either Palawan, Cebu, or Davao.

In line with this, we are inviting you to our event to introduce the campaign to the Filipino Community in Korea on December 17, 2017 at the Sapphire Ballroom, Lotte Hotel, 30 Euljiro 1-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul joins the celebration on the Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week, or “Girl Child Week” from 22-28 March 2026. In accordance with Proclamation No. 759, March 6, 1996, the fourth week of March is celebrated as “Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week”.  The observance also complements the annual National Women’s Month Celebration every March.
