If our country benefits from tourism, you and your loved ones need not even travel to other countries to seek employment to improve your standard of living. Tourism can help you and your families have a better life, better home and better education.

When you convince a Korean tourist to visit the Philippines, you contribute directly to the development of our nation. Apart from the rich opportunities for people-to-people exchange offered by tourism, the dollar spent by Korean tourists in the Philippines also helps boost our economy in many ways: from the hotel they use, to the restaurants and shops they patronize, to the cab drivers they hire, and to the local industries they support and help enhance, tourists stimulate growth and progress.

You can be our partners in promoting the country to South Korea. We can all light the fire of volunteerism and do our own parts in enticing more visitors to our beloved country. You have the power to change the course of Philippine tourism!

We strongly believe that all Filipinos here in South Korea love our country and are willing to sell the Philippines with passion and vigor. In you own little way, you can help create jobs, improve the standard of living, and generate foreign exchange for the country. As tourism advocates, you can help make the dignity and honor of the Filipino known in the eyes of the world.

When you talk to your Korean friends, employers, associates and family members, simply tell them of the following reasons why many have already touted the Philippines as a favored destination:

  • Warm, Hospitable People - Filipinos are gifted with a sunny, contagious smile and by nature make strangers feel welcome. Hospitality is both an art and a tradition for Filipinos.
  • Cultural Diversity - Basically of Malay stock, Filipinos are also of Chinese, American, Spanish and even Arab descent.
  • Strategic Location - The country is readily accessible and is a natural Mecca for commerce. You can point out that Korea is only three and a half hours away from the Philippines.
  • Professional Workforce - Filipinos constitute the best-educated and most easily trainable workforce.
  • English Fluency - Filipinos can speak and write English with ease.
  • Wide Variety of Scenic Spots - The country boasts of diverse tourist attractions, including white sand beaches, lush green forests, majestic mountain peaks, age-old structures, and breathtaking landscapes.
  • Shoppers' Paradise - Visitors can shop either in city malls or flea markets, where bargaining can truly be a unique experience.
  • Recreation and Entertainment Centers - The country has numerous parks and challenging golf courses. Key cities offer a wide variety of entertainment facilities like concert halls, theaters and discos.

For more information on Philippine tourism destinations kindly visit our English website at www.wowphilippines.com.ph and www.visitmyphilippines.com. Your Korean friends can visit our Korean website at www.wowphilippines.or.kr and www.7107.co.kr

I encourage you all to be citadels of national pride, purveyors of our countrys beauty, and passionate volunteers of growth!
