CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE "FILCOM BULLETIN BOARD" SECTION OF THE "PINOY IN KOREA" ONLINE NEWSLETTER


The Philippine Embassy in South Korea invites the Filipino community to contribute to the "FilCom Bulletin Board" Section in the maiden issue of the "PINOY IN KOREA" Online Newsletter by submitting a list of activities open to all Filipino nationals in South Korea, and which will be conducted from July to August 2023.

Please email the following details to pinoyinkoreanewsletter@gmail.com no later than 25 May 2023: (a) name of event; (b) description of the event in less than 100 words including the event organizers, and (c) event poster in .jpeg, .png or gif format. Thank you. END

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:

THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN SEOUL PARTICIPATES IN THE OBSERVANCE OF THE 30TH GIRL CHILD WEEK, 22 -28 MARCH 2026

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul joins the celebration on the Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week, or “Girl Child Week” from 22-28 March 2026. In accordance with Proclamation No. 759, March 6, 1996, the fourth week of March is celebrated as “Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week”.  The observance also complements the annual National Women’s Month Celebration every March.
