CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS TO THE 2018 UNDERSTANDING KOREA ESSAY CONTEST


The Center for International Affairs of the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) is inviting participants to the 2018 Understanding Korea Essay Contest. This contest is aimed at promoting interest in Korea-related contents in foreign textbooks and understanding Korea materials.

The themes of the essay contest are the following: 1) Image of Korea from the International Point of View; and 2) Application of Understanding Korea Materials The application period is from 1 June 2018 to 31 July 2018. The Grand Prize will receive KRW 900,000, while the Excellence Prize will receive KRW300,000 and the Participation Prize will receive KRW150,000.
