COVID-19 VACCINATION INFORMATION FOR FOREIGNERS AGED 75 AND ABOVE


The Philippine Embassy in Seoul wishes to share with the Filipino community in South Korea the following information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea on COVID-19 vaccination for foreigners aged 75 above:

1. Foreigners aged 75 years and above or those born before December 31, 1946 who are long-term residents in Korea (longer than 90 days) are now eligible for vaccination. They will receive the Comirnaty (Pfizer/BioNTech) COVID-19 vaccine in 2 doses, with an interval of 21 days in between.

2. Said doses will be administered in COVID-19 vaccination Centers by district and are free of charge.

3. The application period is between April and June 2021 through local community centers. Long-term residents without foreign registration numbers are also able to apply for vaccination through the local community centers after receiving a temporary administration number from a public health center.

Those who are eligible (75years old and above and long-term residents in Korea) to receive the vaccination may refer to the attached guidelines.END
