2025년 2월부터, 필리핀 관광부는 한국인 관광객을 위한 지원을 강화하고, 필리핀의 주요 관광 시장인 한국과의 관계를 더욱 개선하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 한국어 사용 여행객을 위한 관광 지원 콜센터(TACC) 서비스를 확장합니다!

필리핀 관광지로는 2024년 한 해동안 한국에서 1,574,152명의 관광객이 방문했으며, 이는 전년 대비 8.1% 증가한 수치입니다.
 
필리핀 관광부 장관은 ”한국은 필리핀의 주요 관광 시장으로, 이 서비스를 통해 한국 관광객들이 필리핀의 따뜻한 환대와 다양한 매력을 쉽게 즐길 수 있도록 돕고자 한다“고 말했습니다.
 
또한, 필리핀 정부는 디지털화와 기술 기반 서비스를 통해 관광객들에게 더 효율적이고 접근 가능한 서비스를 제공할 계획을 밝혔습니다. 서비스가 제공되는 TACC는 아시아 최고의 고객 지원 플랫폼 중 하나로 인정받았으며, 최근 2024 Asia Best of Best Awards에서 최고 서비스 – 고객 지원 상을 수상했습니다. 앞으로도 다국어 지원 서비스를 확장할 예정이며, 중국어를 포함한 다양한 언어 지원을 통해 더 많은 관광객들에게 서비스를 제공할 계획입니다.

Beginning in February, tourists can access support from Korean-speaking agents through the Department of Tourism's (DOT) expanded Tourist Assistance Call Center (TACC), reflecting the Department's commitment to enhancing service for travelers from South Korea, the country’s largest source of inbound tourists.

In 2024, the Philippines welcomed 1,574,152 visitors from South Korea, representing an 8.1% increase from last year.

“As South Korea continues to be our top inbound market, this initiative ensures that Korean travelers can easily access assistance, allowing them to fully enjoy the warmth, hospitality, and attractions that make the Philippines a destination to love,” stated Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco.

In addition, the Philippine government has announced its plan to provide more efficient and accessible services to tourists through digitalization and technology-based services. TACC has been recognized as one of the best customer support platforms in Asia, and was recently awarded the Best Service - Customer Support Award at the 2024 Asia Best of Best Awards. In the future, the DOT will continue to expand its multilingual support services, planning to provide services to more tourists through various language supports, including Mandarin. END
