Email Scam using Name of Philippine Embassy


All Posts are being cautioned regarding a new email scam whose modus operandi includes targeting overseas Filipinos using the name of the Philippine Embassy or other Philippine representations abroad.

An OFW approached Saipan PCG reporting about the receipt of an email allegedly from Muscat PE informing him that he won a large sum of prize money. In view of this, all Posts are directed to remind the Filipino communities in their respective jurisdictions to be alert against this type of email scam and ascertain such claims from the appropriate authorities before giving out personal information or following the instructions stated in the emails.

Public Service Advisory from Pag-IBIG Fund and SSS-Seoul

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public that the Pag-IBIG Fund South Korea Member Services Desk and SSS–Seoul will be temporarily unable to accommodate walk-in clients on 25 January 2026 due to an official onsite service in Busan. Both services will resume regular operations on 26 January 2026.
