EMBASSY CONTACT NUMBERS DURING THE TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF CONSULAR SERVICES


The Emergency Hotline Number: 010-9365-2312 has been repurposed to serve as the Embassy's hotline number for consular concerns until the Embassy resumes normal operations on 19 April 2020 (Sunday). This hotline number is operational during regular working hours (09:00AM to 05:00 PM) to assist clients with urgent queries or concerns on consular matters. After 5:00PM, the hotline number should only be contacted in cases of emergencies. The Embassy may be contacted through the following:

Filipino nationals in distress may reach the Embassy through the Assistance to Nationals (ATN) hotline 010-9263-8119.

Clients who wish to apply for a travel document (TD) for urgent one-way travel to the Philippines are requested to send an email to consular@philembassy-seoul.com.

Ang pansamantalang pagsara ng Consular Section hanggang ika-16 ng Abril ay ginawa para sa proteksyon ng mga aplikante at kliyente sa panahong ito ng mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng social distancing upang masugpo ang COVID-19. Pumapaloob sa period na ito ang Holy Week (Abril 9-12) at ang ika-15 ng Abril na holiday naman sa Korea. Nais ipahatid ng Pasuguan ng Pilipinas na ang sinumang may pangangailangan, maging Assistance to Nationals o kaya ay urgent consular service, mangyari po lamang na makipag-ugnayan sa mga numero at email address na nakasaad sa itaas.

Ipinapaalam din sa publiko na dahil sa pansamantalang pagsuspinde ng operasyon ng Department of Foreign Affairs - Office of Consular Affairs sa Maynila, magkakaroon ng pagkaantala sa paghahatid ng mga pasaporteng nauna nang na-proseso.END

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul joins the celebration on the Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week, or “Girl Child Week” from 22-28 March 2026. In accordance with Proclamation No. 759, March 6, 1996, the fourth week of March is celebrated as “Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week”.  The observance also complements the annual National Women’s Month Celebration every March.
