The Philippine Embassy will be closed on Monday, April 7, 2008, in commemoration of the Araw ng Kagitingan (Valor Day). However, the Embassy will remain open on Wednesday, April 9, which coincides with South Korea's General Elections, in order to assist Filipinos and other clients who wish to take advantage of the holiday to visit the Embassy.
