FACE MASK AND HAND SANITIZER DRIVE FOR FILIPINOS IN DAEGU

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the Filipino community that there will be distribution of face masks and hand sanitizers for our kababayans based in Daegu starting this week.

As advised by health authorities, to avoid the risk of contracting and/or spreading the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), face masks and hand sanitizers will be distributed through Filipino community leaders as contact persons. Our contact persons will then distribute the supplies to kababayans within their vicinity.

Those who wish to submit their request for supplies, please send an email to help@philembassy-seoul.com and include the following information:

• Full name
• Address/Location
• Contact Number
• Number of people who need supplies

The Philippine Embassy has been doing its best to source and procure face masks and hand sanitizers in the past weeks, and will continue to do its utmost for our kababayans in South Korea. However, we are facing challenges due to supply shortage and purchasing restrictions. Nakikusap po kami sa suporta ng Filipino community para sa ating mga kababayan sa Daegu. We hope the supply of the needed items will normalize soon.

Those who wish to donate face masks and hand sanitizers for our kababayans in Daegu, please contact the Philippine Embassy by texting 010-9365-2312 or by emailing consular@philembassy-seoul.com, for coordination. END
