GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR PASSENGERS ENTERING THE PH


The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform the Filipino Community in South Korea of the general passenger guidelines and entry requirements of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), Clark International Airport (CRK), and Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA): (Please see attached Philippine Embassy Advisory)

AIRPORT REQUIREMENTS



Ninoy Aquino International Airport

All arriving international passengers are required to do the following upon arrival:
•Submit accomplished electronic Case Investigation Form (eCIF)
•Undergo mandatory RT-PCR swab test
•Undergo mandatory quarantine, however, there is no need to pre-book quarantine hotel

Notes:

For returning non-OFW Filipinos and/or foreign nationals, the cost for swab test and hotel accommodation shall be shouldered by the passenger

For returning OFWs, the cost for hotel accommodation and transportation shall be shouldered by OWWA, while the cost for swab test shall be shouldered by PhilHealth. OFWs should register in OASIS at https://oasis.owwa.gov.ph
prior to their flight.

For returning seafarers, the cost of hotel accommodation and transportation shall be shouldered by the local manning agencies, while the cost of swab test shall be shouldered by PhilHealth. Seafarers should register in OASIS at https://oasis.owwa.gov.ph prior to their flight.

Clark International Airport

For OFWs:

•Fully accomplished electronic Case Investigation Form (eCIF)
•Mandatory RT-PCR swab test upon arrival
•No need to pre-book quarantine hotel

Note:

Cost of Accommodation and Transportation to be shouldered by OWWA, while the RT-PCR test shall be shouldered by PhilHealth.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul joins the celebration on the Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week, or “Girl Child Week” from 22-28 March 2026. In accordance with Proclamation No. 759, March 6, 1996, the fourth week of March is celebrated as “Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week”.  The observance also complements the annual National Women’s Month Celebration every March.
