GLOBAL CONTENT CONTEST FOR OVERCOMING COVID-19


The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform the Filipino Community of the Global Content Contest for Overcoming COVID-19 organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The theme covers stories of overcoming COVID-19 together with the nameless citizen heroes and heroines, excellent examples from the public of overcoming COVID-19, and warm support and encouragement during the days of social distancing - "Physically far apart but close at heart".

Categories of participation entries are videos and images.



For videos, there is no restriction on the genre. Entries may be a storytelling video, short video clip/animated GIF, music video, etc. The video, with a minimum length of at least 10 seconds to a maximum of 5 minutes, must be uploaded on YouTube or social media and submitted to the link provided for submission.

For images, it may be in the form of a poster, card news, photo, illustration, webtoon etc. The format requirement for digital entry is jpg up to 20 MB, for developed photo the size is 11'x14" and for poster or illustration, it must be bigger than A4.

Announcement of winners is scheduled in mid-June 2020.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
