INVITATION TO CHILDREN FOR THE READING OF A FILIPINO FAIRY TALE, 26TH OF MAY, KF GALLERYbioclavid wiki bioclavid modic bioclavid til hunde


Philippine Ambassador to Korea Raul S. Hernandez shows off both the English and Korean version of the well-loved Philippine folk tale “Bahay Kubo,” which is among the eight Philippine books displayed at the “Encounter the World through Children’s Books” Exhibition at the Korea Foundation Gallery during the opening ceremony on 26 April 2016.

The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines cordially invites parents and their children to come visit the Korea Foundation (KF) Gallery in Seoul on Thursday, 26 May 2016, for the reading os a Filipino fairy tale.

Under the program “Book Reading for Children by Ambassador in Korea”, Mr. Roderico C. Atienza, Consul General and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines, will read one of the oldest and most popular Filipino children's stories ever told: “Ang Matsing at ang Pagong” (The Monkey and the Turtle). A short video about the Philippines and about the story will also be presented, to be followed by Philippine snacks. The reading is part of the larger event organized by the Korea Foundation, called “Encounter the World through Children’s Books,” which is putting on display 400 books recommended or donated by foreign diplomats at the KF Gallery in Seoul until 8 June 2016. LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:

THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN SEOUL PARTICIPATES IN THE OBSERVANCE OF THE 30TH GIRL CHILD WEEK, 22 -28 MARCH 2026

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul joins the celebration on the Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week, or “Girl Child Week” from 22-28 March 2026. In accordance with Proclamation No. 759, March 6, 1996, the fourth week of March is celebrated as “Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week”.  The observance also complements the annual National Women’s Month Celebration every March.
