JOB VACANCY AT THE PHILIPPINE OVERSEAS LABOR OFFICE - OVERSEAS WORKERS WELFARE ADMINISTRATION (POLO-OWWA)


The Philippine Overseas Labor Office- Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (POLO-OWWA) Office of the Philippine Embassy in Seoul is now accepting applications for the position of Interpreter/ Translator. The job description and required qualifications for the position are enumerated as follows:

TITLE: (1) INTERPRETER/ TRANSLATOR
(Preferably male between 21-35 years old)


JOB DESCRIPTION:
• To translate documents from Korean to English or English to Korean;
• To render support for management of welfare?related requests for assistance involving Filipino workers
• To coordinate with government and non-government institutions in the delivery of labor-related assistance and for the development-oriented projects to the Filipino community
• To perform administrative and clerical duties such as filing, record-keeping and other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
• To drive the official vehicle for work-related trips


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• A Korean (native speaker) with mastery of oral and written English
• Must be a College or University (Baccalaureate) degree holder
• Must be computer-literate;
• Must be a holder of Korean Driver's License and;
• Must be willing to work overtime
• Previous working experience not necessary;
