JOIN THE PARADE OF COLORS TO MARK THE 17TH INCHEON ASIAN GAMES


SEOUL, 23 September 2014 – All Filipinos living in Korea and their Korean friends are invited to join the Parade of Colors organized by the Incheon Metropolitan Government, on Sunday, 28 September 2014, with the cooperation of the Philippine Embassy and all sending countries of the Employment Permit System (EPS), to mark Incheon’s hosting of the 17th Asian Games.

Citizens from nine countries including the Philippines are expected to come out in droves to join this unique cultural event which aims to showcase each country's culture through the display of colorful traditional costumes and dances.

For its representative theme, the Philippines will recreate the Santacruzan procession at the Juan Media Festival. Participants will meet at 12:30 pm at Exit 7 of Juan Station on Line 2. For more information, please contact Fr. Jun Perez at 01068236336.

The festival is held every year for three days in Nam-gu, Incheon, with the aim of enhancing intercultural communication in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere through concerts, 3D art exhibitions, games, cartoon character Exhibition, handicraft display, tourism promotion booth and a taste of various Asian cuisine.

MAKIISA SA PARADE OF COLORS, HUDYAT NG 17TH INCHEON ASIAN GAMES

Ang lahat ng mga Filipino at Koryano ay inaanyayahan na makiisa sa Parade of Colors sa Linggo, ika-28 ng Setyembre 2014. Ang Parade ay inorganisa ng Incheon Metropolitan Government sa tulong ng Embahada ng Pilipinas at iba pang mga bansang nagpapadala ng workers sa ilalim ng Employment Permit System. Ang Parade of Colors na gaganapin ang paghuhudyat ng 17th Asian Games sa Incheon.

Ang mga bansang kalahok ay inaasahang makapagpapakilala ng kani-kaniyang kultura sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuot ng mga tradisyunal na kasuotan at pambansang mga sayaw.

Ipakikilala ng Pilipinas ang Santacruzan sa Juan Media Festival na bahagi ng Parade. Ang oras ng assembly ay sa ika-12:30 ng hapon sa Exit 7 ng Juan Station sa Line 2. Para sa mga karagdagang impormasyon, maaari pong makipag-ugnayan kay Fr. Jun Perez sa 01068236336.

Ang festival na ito ay ginaganap taun-taon sa loob ng tatlong araw sa Nam-gu, Incheon. May layunin ito na maipakikilala at maipagmalaki ang iba't ibang kultura sa pamamagitan ng mga makukulay at masasayang concerts, 3D art exhibitions, palaro, cartoon character exhibition, handicraft display, tourism promotion booth at mga pagkaing Asyano.
