MANDATORY 14-DAY FACILITY QUARANTINE FOR ALL OFWS UPON ARRIVAL IN THE PHILIPPINES


The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform the Filipino Community in South Korea that pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) Resolution No. 23 dated 13 April 2020, all OFWs returning to the Philippines, whether sea-based or land-based, are required to undergo a 14-day facility quarantine upon arrival in the PHILIPPINES.

All arrangements regarding the mandatory 14-day facility quarantine will be facilitated and implemented by the Sub-Task Group (STG) for the Repatriation of OFWs under the National Task Force (NTF) - Task Group on Response Operations, chaired by the Department of Transportation and co-chaired by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
