NOMINATIONS TO THE MIGRATION ADVOCACY AND MEDIA AWARDS 2019


The Philippine Embassy in Seoul wishes to inform the public that nominations to the Migration Advocacy and Media (MAM) Awards 2019 is still open to any media outlets, institutions and practitioners in the fields of print, radio, movie and television, advertising and internet from the government and private media organizations in the Philippines and abroad.

The MAM Awards aim to recognize the significant role of the media in raising awareness on issues on Filipino migration as well as advocating the cause of, and promoting a positive image of, Overseas Filipinos. The nominees may be based in the Philippines or outside the country.



The MAM Awards consist of six categories:

a. The Print Journalism Award
• Best magazine/newspaper /newsletter on migration
• Best book on migration

b. The Radio Journalism Award
• Best regular radio program on migration
• Best radio program that featured migration-related topic/issue/event

c. The Television Journal Award
• Best regular TV program on migration
• Best TV (episodic) program that featured migration-related topic/issue/ event
• Best TV series that featured migration-related topic/issue/event

d. The Film Media Award
• Best films (full length) on migration
• Best documentary on migration

e. The Interactive Media Award
• Best website on migration
• Best blog on migration.

f. The Advertisement Award

Entries to the NAM Award 2018 must be submitted on or before 15 September 2019 to the MAM Awards Secretariat, Commission on Filipinos Overseas, Citigold Center, 1345 Pres. Quirino Avenue cor. Osmena Highway (South Superhighway) Manila, Philippines 1007.
