NOTICE ON FIELD OVERSEAS VOTER REGISTRATION IN GUMI


The Philippine Embassy informs all Filipino nationals in South Korea who are eligible and not yet registered to vote in the 2025 National Elections that it will be conducting a field Overseas Voter Registration on 18 June 2023, Sunday, from 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 53 Songwonseo-ro 8-gil, Gumi-Si, Gyeongsangbuk-d0 (3F Gumi Catholic Center). To apply for Overseas Voter Registration, please follow the instructions below:

1. Go to the iRehistro portal which may be accessed at https://irehistro.comelec.gov.ph/irehistro/ovf1 or https://tinyurl.com/ovregform1, or by scanning the QR Code .



2. Save the generated iRehistro form, print it out making sure all the QR codes on the second page are complete, and bring it, together with a valid Philippine Passport and a copy of the datapage, to the field registration site at the Gumi Catholic Center for the taking of biometrics.

In the absence of a valid Philippine Passport, supporting documents can be any of the following: 1) Identification Certificate and a photocopy thereof for dual citizens; 2) Seafarer's Book and a photocopy of the datapage for sea-based workers; or 3) Certification from the Embassy for those with lost or expired passports and are eligible to apply for lost passport replacement or passport renewal.

In the meantime, overseas voter registration at the Philippine Embassy in Seoul will be temporarily suspended on said date in order to accommodate all the potential applicants in Gumi.

In response to the request of OVR applicants and concerned and responsible Filipino Community Organizations assisting in the Field Registration activity in Gumi, the Philippine Embassy may also receive inquiries or applications for notarial (SPA, Affidavit, Dual Citizenship); civil registry (Report of Birth, Report of Marriage, Travel Document); and Embassy Certificate of Registration or ID, but the processing and release will be done at the Embassy in Seoul or by delivery. Similar arrangements will also be available for OWWA and Pag-IBIG services, including enrollment in OWWA and MP2 membership.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
