NOTICE ON NEW RESIDENCE CARDS FOR FOREIGNERS IN SOUTH KOREA


The Filipino Community in Korea is informed that beginning 01 April 2023, the Korea Immigration Service started issuing newly redesigned Residence Cards for Foreigners in South Korea. Aside from having a colored photo, the new Residence Card contains a QR Code for ease of identification.

Older Residence Cards issued in accordance with previous regulations will remain valid until they are due for replacement. However, the redesigned cards may still be issued to applicants who intend to have their older cards replaced, subject to a fee of KW 30,000.
