ADVISORY

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul hereby informs the public of an investigation conducted by the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) on the legitimacy of the Philippine International Development Agency (PIDA), which identifies itself as a bona fide government agency that accepts tender offers for development projects and asks money as payment.

Per the result of the investigation by NICA, it confirmed that PIDA is a bogus entity and operates scams. Its webpage www.pida-ph.prg is listed as a fake procurement scam by the Stop 419 Scams and Scammers, a website which exposes scammers and fights advance fee frauds, also known as 419 scam.

The Embassy hereby warns the public against engaging in any transactions with PIDA and reiterates its call to the public to exercise caution before investing their hard-earned money in dubious schemes. END
