ONLINE UGNAYAN SA SOUTH KOREA 2020

The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO), in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, will conduct the Online Ugnayan sa South Korea 2020 for the Filipino community in South Korea via Zoom and Facebook live on 08 November 2020, Sunday, at 3:00pm to 5:35pm.

The CFO developed the Ugnayan series as part of its mandate and commitment to strengthen ties and relations with Filipino community overseas. It also serves as a platform to familiarize overseas Filipinos about the programs and services of CFO, and discuss the problems and issues of OFs that need government intervention, as well as means of cooperation for diaspora engagement. The program supports the policy pronouncement of President Rodrigo Duterte on bringing government services closer to overseas Filipinos and their families.

While the original Ugnayan is a series of face-to-face meetings with Filipino community and leaders, this year'S Ugnayan will be conducted online, webinar style. This is in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, where online service has become the "new normal."

This year'S Ugnayan will revolve around concerns of overseas Filipinos in South Korea in relation to COVID-19, and how the Philippine government could assist them.

The Ugnayan is free and is open to the members of the Filipino community in South Korea. To join, kindly register at https://tinyurl.com/CFOOnlineUgnayansaKorea. END
