PAALA-ALA: PAGHIHIGPIT SA PAGDALA NG ANIMAL/LIVESTOCK PRODUCTS PAPASOK NG SOUTH KOREA


Muli pong pinapaalalahanan ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Korea ang ating mga kababayang Filipino tungkol sa paghihigpit sa pagdadala o pagpasok ng mga animal/livestock products sa bansang South Korea. Ito ay alinsunod sa kanilang ipinatutupad na regulasyon na Act on the Prevention of Contagious Animal Disease, at ayon na rin sa mga paunawa na inilathala ng iba't ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan ng South Korea. Ang mga nasabing pinaghihigpitang animal/livestock products ay kinakailangang ideklara at ireport sa quarantine office ng paliparan o daungan sa inyong pagdating. Ang sinumang hindi makagawa nito ay maaring mapatawan ng multa ng hangang \10,000,000.00 at ang hindi makabayad ng multa ay maaring hindi pahintulutang makapasok sa South Korea.

Ipinabatid sa Embahada na noong 21 Oktubre 2019, isang biyahero ang napatawan ng limang (5) taong entry ban pagkatapos niyang hindi makabayad ng \5,000,000.00 multa sa kanyang pagdala ng pork sausage sa airport. Ito ay nagpapatunay kung gaano kahigpit ang awtoridad sa pagpapatupad ng regulasyong ito.

Mga kababayan, kung kayo ay magtutungo sa South Korea, bilang isang turista, manggagawa o maging residente man, maaari pong huwag nang magdala ng alinman sa mga pinaghihigpitang animal/livestock products para maiwasan natin ang abala. Ang lahat ng hand-carry at checked-in luggage ay dadaan sa masusing security screening sa mga airports. END

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul joins the celebration on the Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week, or “Girl Child Week” from 22-28 March 2026.
