In recognition of the growing demand for the Embassy’s services during Sundays, the Embassy of the Philippines in South Korea would like to announce that it will open its consular and labor services to the public every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning 17 June 2012, except during holidays.

Accordingly, the Embassy will be open to provide consular services such as those related to passports and travel documents, visas, authentication and notarials (‘red ribbon’), civil registry (reports of birth, marriage, death), renunciation of Philippine citizenship and dual citizenship, among others, from Sunday through Thursday each week, except during holidays. As a result of the new schedule, the Embassy will be closed every Friday and Saturday after 17 June 2012. The Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) will also follow the new schedule and open their services to the public from Sunday to Thursday.

The other attached agencies of the Embassy, such as the Philippine Trade and Investment Center, the Philippine Department of Tourism, and the Office of the Defense and Armed Forces Attaché of the Philippines, which mostly deal with Korean government and private offices, will continue to follow the Monday to Friday schedule.
