PHILIPPINE FOOD PROMOTION AT


Seoul, 19 March 2019 ? The Embassy wishes to inform the public that Hotel Ibis Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong is holding a Philippine Food Promotion event honoring the 70th anniversary of Philippines-Korea bilateral relations. The event is being held at the La Table Restaurant at the hotel�셲 19th floor and runs from 12 to 23 March 2019.

Domingo of Novotel Manila Araneta Center was invited by Hotel Ibis to prepare the delectable Philippine cuisine featured during the promotion. Popular Filipino dishes like adobo, kare-kare, crispy pata, sinigang na hipon, okoy, pancit and turon are served to Filipino food lovers for lunch and dinner alongside the restaurant�셲 regular buffet fare.

The Embassy, through the Philippine Agriculture Office, donated tropical fruits including bananas, mangoes, and pineapples flown straight from Manila for serving on the event�셲 opening day. Destileria Limtuaco & Co., Inc., the oldest distillery in the Philippines, also generously sent Paradise Mango Rum for tasting during the food promotion.

La Table�셲 lunch buffet costs KRW 38,000 while the dinner buffet costs KRW 55,000. As a special offer, the restaurant is offering a 20% discount to Filipino diners during the Philippine Food Promotion.

The Philippine Food Promotion by Hotel Ibis Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong is one of the many programs and events that the Philippine Embassy supports in celebration of 70 years of warm and steadfast friendship between the Philippines and South Korea.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
