POEA COVID-19 ADVISORY


The Embassy wishes to share with the public the POEA Advisory on COVID-19 for your guidance, the key points are as follows:

The Embassy wishes to share with the public the POEA Advisory on COVID-19 for your guidance, the key points are as follows:

• Workers are requested to refrain from transacting with POEA if feeling sick or with symptoms
• Transacting public are required to wear protective masks within POEA premises
• OFWs and travelers who recently arrived from a country affected by COVID should observe the 14-day quarantine before proceeding to POEA.
In this connection, all vacationing and returning workers from Korea are requested to observe the 14-day quarantine period before proceeding to POEA should they have transactions with the office, including its regional branches.

All new EPS Sincere Workers shall also observe the 14-day quarantine upon their arrival, but they shall report to POEA for the required submission of their documents not later than one (1) month from their arrival.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
