POEA WARNING ON ILLEGAL RECRUITMENT BY UNAUTHORIZED AGENTS


26 October 2022, Seoul - The Philippine Embassy wishes to share the official advisory issued by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), reiterating its warning to the public that recruitment activities conducted by any person without license or authority is considered as illegal recruitment under Philippine laws.

Overseas job seekers are therefore advised to check if there are verified overseas employment offers through www.dmw.gov.ph. The public is also encouraged to report suspicious recruitment activities through osd@dmw.gov.ph, and to be informed of how to avoid recruitment scams through www.facebook.com/airbranch.-END-

26 October 2022, Seoul - Lubos na pinag-iingat ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Seoul ang lahat laban sa ilegal na recruitment na ginagawa ng sinuman na walang lisensya o autoridad. Ito ay alinsunod sa pinalabas na Advisory No. 65 series of 2022 ng Philippine Overseas Employment Administration ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

Para sa sinumang naghahangad na magtrabaho sa ibang bansa, siguraduhin muna na beripikado ang alok na trabaho sa www.dmw.gov.ph. Kung may napapansin namang kahina-hinalang gawaing may kinalaman sa pagtatrabaho sa ibang bansa, kailangan ding agad itong ipagbigay-alam sa osd@dmw.gov.ph. Bisitahin ang www.facebook.com/airbranch para sa iba pang kaalaman upang maiwasan ang ilegal na recruitment.-END-

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
