All Philippine and Korean Exhibitors Members of the Filipino Community and Guests Re: “One Philippines” Exhibition at the Seoul City Plaza, 29-31 May 2009

In observance of the mourning period by the Korean people on the passing away of their former President Roh Moo-hyun last Saturday, 23 May 2009, the Philippine Embassy in Seoul has decided to defer to a later date the holding of the “One Philippines” Exhibition at the Seoul City Hall Plaza scheduled this weekend, 29-31 May 2009. The Embassy is now considering holding the “One Philippines” Exhibition that jointly commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Philippines- Korea relations, 111th Philippine Independence Day and Migrant Workers’ day on 27-28 June 2009. The venue of the Philippine event will be announced later. I regret any inconvenience that the postponement of the event might have caused you. I look forward to your continuing cooperation and full support for our “One Philippines” Exhibition. Thank you. Sincerely, (orig signed) LUIS T. CRUZ Ambassador
