The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has announced that it will now allow Filipinos to vote even if they failed to vote in 2 consecutive elections in a precint in an Embassy where they are registered voters. As the voters were originally deactivated by the Comelec in accordance with election laws, now they can activate their registration by coming out to vote during the election period. The voters referred to are the ones who were earlier delisted for failing to beat the deadline to manifest their intent to vote in the midterm elections.

The additional list of reinstated voters is still being prepared and the Embassy will inform the public when it is available so that those who would like to inquire may contact the Embassy.
