REMINDERS: MEETING WITH THE FILIPINO COMMUNITY IN SOUTH KOREA OF PRESIDENT RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE


The Philippine Embassy in Seoul wishes to reiterate to all registered attendees to the Filipino Community Meeting with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte the following reminders:

• SHUTTLE SERVICE: Grand Hilton Seoul will provide free shuttle service from Hongje Station to the Convention Centre. The shuttle buses will be available from 10:50AM at Exit 1 of Hongje Station. The last shuttle bus will depart the station at 1:45PM. You will be asked to present a copy of your confirmation email and identification card before you can board the shuttle bus.
• FREE PARKING: Grand Hilton Seoul will provide free parking for all vehicles, including buses. However, only those who have pre-registered their vehicles may avail of the free parking.
• SCHEDULE: Registration will start at 11:00AM and will end at 2:00PM. The doors of the Convention Hall will be closed at 2:00PM. For those who will be arriving after 2:00PM, you will be refused entry to the Convention Hall. Everyone is reminded to take their lunch before coming to the venue.
• REGISTRATION: Kindly present your confirmation email and present it together with your identification documents to the registration desk to be allowed access to the venue. Those who did not pre-register and those who did not receive a confirmation email will be refused entry to the venue.
• PROGRAM: The pre-program will start at 2:00PM and will end at 3:30PM. This will be followed by the main program at 4:00PM. It is expected to end at 5:30PM.
• SECURITY CHECK: Security check will be done at the venue. Everyone is requested to cooperate with the members of the security team and comply with their directives. Those who fail to comply will be refused entry to the venue.
• PROHIBITED ITEMS: Everyone is instructed NOT to bring a bag. For security reasons, you may only bring your wallet and cellphone.
• FOOD AND DRINKS: No food and drinks will be allowed inside the venue except the ones catered by Grand Hilton Seoul. The Embassy will provide packed meals to all attendees AFTER the main program.
• DRESS CODE: business casual. No ripped denim jeans, plunging necklines, see-through apparel, tank tops, tube tops, crop tops. leggings, mini skirt, flip flops/slippers. Bulky jackets, caps, hats are also not allowed.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul joins the celebration on the Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week, or “Girl Child Week” from 22-28 March 2026. In accordance with Proclamation No. 759, March 6, 1996, the fourth week of March is celebrated as “Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week”.  The observance also complements the annual National Women’s Month Celebration every March.
