REQUIREMENTS FOR RENEWAL OF NON e-PASSPORTS


All Filipinos in the Republic of Korea are hereby informed that beginning Sunday, 03 July 2016, as per directive from the Department of Foreign Affairs, the requirements for holders of Machine Readable-Ready Passports (MRRPs or the so-called “Green Passports�) and Machine Readable Passports (MRPs or the so-called “Maroon Passports� without electronic chip and with passport numbers starting with “XX�) shall be as follows:

1. The Actual MRRP/MRP Booklet;

2. PSA/NSO-issued Birth Certificate (and PSA/NSO-issued Marriage Contract for women using their husband’s surname);

3. At least one (1) valid Philippine government-issued identification document:

? Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID), Digitized SSS ID, GSIS E-Card, Philippine Driver’s License, PRC ID, IBP ID, Senior Citizen’s ID, and Voter’s ID;

4. Passport applicants without valid Philippine government-issued identification document should submit new NBI Clearance.
