SPECIAL PASSENGER FLIGHT FROM INCHEON TO MANILA, 07 JUNE 2020


The Philippine Embassy in Seoul wishes to inform the public that it has arranged a special passenger flight from Incheon to Manila for all Filipino nationals who are currently stranded in South Korea.

The special passenger flight, via Korean Air KE 623, is scheduled to depart Incheon International Airport tomorrow, 07 June 2020, at 6:45pm.



For those who previously registered with the Embassy, kindly call the Korean Air reservations center at their hotline 1588-2001 to rebook your flight tickets.

For those who did not register but wish to join the special flight, you may contact the same hotline to purchase a new ticket or rebook your existing one.

Due to the passenger limit, the reservation of those who did not register with the Embassy will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis.

The Embassy further notes that per information received from Korea Air, their flights scheduled on 15, 18, and 22 June are cancelled. In this regard, we wish to encourage those booked on the said dates to join the special flight to avoid further delay in their departure schedule.

For concerns on how Overseas Filipino Workers can claim their benefits from the Philippines, attached are the guidelines from Samsung (for twejekum) and NPS (for kookmin).

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
