SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION ON FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR DISPLACED OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS DUE TO COVID-19


The Embassy wishes to share with the Filipino community in South Korea the supplemental information on the Financial Assistance for Displaced Landbased and Seabased Filipino Workers due to the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic, or DOLE-AKAP for OFWs.

The said update further clarifies that the displaced (or displacement) refers to an OFW who has experienced permanent or temporary loss of work on account of COVID-19 starting 01 March 2020.

Qualified OFWs are requested to carefully read the Supplementary Information together with the previously issued Application Guideline for their guidance prior to submission of application.
