Announcements And Advisories

To all FilCom Heads/Focal Persons in Korea

Further to our previous email, we wish to remind you of the deadline for submission of nominees for Bagong Bayani Awards, which is on 29 May 2009.

We believe there are Filipino workers in Korea who have selflessly devoted themselves and demonstrated exemplary performance in their work and/or the community and, therefore, deserves at least to be nominated as Bagong Bayani awardee. There are four categories of the Awards, namely, 1) Outstanding Employee, 2) Award for Community and Social Service, 3) Award for Culture and the Arts, and 4) Blas F. Ople Award para sa Natatanging Bagong Bayani. For reference and guidelines, application form and reminder about the deadline can be acquired at POEA website. Thank you for your cooperation. For the Ambassador: (Sgd.) Delmer Cruz Labor Attache
