Visa Applications During Peak Months


Due to expected volume of applications for the summer season, effective Monday, 14 June 2010 until Tuesday, 31 August 2010, visa processing will be ten (10 ) working days upon receipt of the individual application by the Embassy. Please ensure that all requirements are complete before application and personal appearance is required.

To avoid long queues in applying for a visa, nationals from South Korea can travel to the Philippines for 21-days with NO VISA. You can apply for extension of stay with the Bureau of Immigration in the Philippines. If you are traveling to the Philippines to enroll in a non-degree course for less than one (1) year (which include short English courses) , a Special Study Permit (SSP) may be applied for upon arrival in the Philippines. Entry Requirements: (1) Passport valid for six (6) months from date of intended travel to the Philippines. (2) Duly notarized letter request from the applicant for the issuance of the permit; (3) Duly accomplished and notarized application form; (4) Certificate of acceptance issued by the learning institutions duly accredited by the Bureau of Immigration; and (5) Plain photocopy of the applicant’s passport reflecting its bio-page and authorized stay. Prepare all the required documents and submit application with supporting documents through your tour operator. The application and documentary requirements must be filed before the office of the Bureau of Immigration which is located at Magallanes Drive, Intramuros, Manila. LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
