Seoul, 16 July 2026. The Philippine Embassy in Seoul led by Ambassador Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez received the courtesy visit of a 60-member delegation composed of LGU officials including chief executives, local legislators and department heads from Quezon City, Legazpi City, Masbate, Occidental Mindoro, Siquijor, Tarlac, Surigao Del Norte and Zamboanga Del Norte at the Sentro Rizal Hall of the Philippine Embassy. Ambassador was joined by Deputy Head of Mission and Consul General Edwin Gil Q. Mendoza, PTIC-Seoul Commercial Counsellor Ms. Charmaine Mignon Yalong and MWO-Korea Labor Attaché Atty. Rosemarie Duquez.

The high-level discussion brought together governments, industry and international organizations to examine green ammonia as a scalable pathway to net-zero shipping.
