Amb. Cruz Awards Medal to ROK MGen. Lee


On the 27th of March – Philippine Ambassador to the Republic of Korea (ROK) Luis T. Cruz (left) awards an Outstanding Achievement Medal to Major General Sun-Chul Lee (center) of the ROK Army for his efforts to promote logistics cooperation between the Philippines and South Korea. As Director-General of the Logistics Management Bureau, Major General Lee was instrumental in initiating joint programs between the Philippine Department of National Defense and the South Korean Ministry of National Defense, including the grant of two patrol boats and 134 mobility and engineering equipment last year. Amb. Cruz awards the medal on behalf of AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Hermogenes Esperon, Jr., through the Office of the Defense and Armed Forces Attaché Col. Jonas Sumagaysay (right).
