Fernandez presented the country’s priorities for a just and investment-ready maritime transition during the GGGI-led session on the future of zero-carbon shipping at the World Green Growth Forum 2026 in Pohang on 09 July 2026. SEOUL, 9-10 July 2026 — The Philippines showcased its growing leadership in the practical and inclusive application of artificial intelligence (AI) during the 16th FEALAC Cyber Secretariat Workshop and the 2026 FEALAC Future Dialogue: AI for All, held in Seoul from 9 to 10 July 2026. The workshop was convened as an inter-sessional platform for promoting policy dialogue and practical cooperation among FEALAC member countries in response to the rapidly evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Seoul, 5 July 2026 – Reinforcing its commitment to the welfare, skills development, and lifelong learning of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, through the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) – South Korea, in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), successfully conducted the livelihood skills training entitled "Kitchen Confidence: Mastering Food Safety and Sanitation" on 5 July 2026 at the Sentro Rizal Hall, Philippine Embassy in Seoul.
