22 March 2023, Seoul. The Philippine Embassy in Seoul officers led by Ambassador Theresa Dizon-De Vega, together with Filipino-Korea Spouses Association President Ms. Fe Gimarino Kim and BISDAK President Ms. Donnabelle Casipong warmly welcomed Committee on Accounts Chairperson and Tingog Partylist Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez during her visit at the Embassy on 17 March 2023.

The Embassy shared with Rep. Yedda some relevant information on the best practices in the Republic of Korea in the tourism, agriculture and trade sectors which may be applied in the Philippines. END

Seoul, 19 September 2026 – Philippine Ambassador Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez attended the 2026 Global Family Forum held at the Textile Center in Seoul. Organized by the Federation for Korean Families (FKF), a civic coalition of 20 member organizations and 160 partner organizations, the Forum gathered around 500 participants, including academics and experts, civic organizations, policy stakeholders and media to discuss the population and family crisis in Korea and the value of Korean family culture in addressing the challenges of a changing society.
