FILIPINO SPOUSES IN KOREA REAP AWARDS IN ESSAY CONTESTbioclavid wiki kapslerbruger.site bioclavid til hunde


Seoul, 17 November 2013 – Six entries by Filipino women married to Koreans received awards at the “My Life in Korea” essay contest organized by the Research Institute of Asian Women of Sookmyung Women’s University, the Philippine Embassy in Seoul reported Sunday to the Department.

From the 320 entries that were submitted, the essays composed by Filipinas Yeo Hyeon-jeong, Estela S. Kim, Analie Cordua, Lee Da-in, Lee Seo-hyeon, and Jessie Quimson were chosen as among the prize-winners. The awarding ceremony was held at Sookmyung Women's University on 6 November 2013.

This unique contest allows migrant women participants to share their experiences in living in Korea using their native language. The winning entries are then published in a book with their corresponding Korean translations.

The first place winner was Ms. Wang Ssang from China while the Philippines’ Ms. Yeo Hyeon-jeong was one of the five third place winners and the highest placed entry among the Filipino participants.

The My Life in Korea has been a yearly event since 2008 with the support of the Korean Exchange Bank Sharing Foundation (KEB).

PH EMBASSY HIGHLIGHTS STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP, VALUE OF DIPLOMACY AT KNDA ANNUAL PANEL

25 March 2026, Seoul - The Philippine Embassy in Seoul participated in the Annual Diplomatic Panel of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) on 25 March 2026 at the DiploTown Building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.  The program gathered forty (40) diplomatic candidates of the KNDA and five (5) working-level diplomats from the Embassies of the Philippines, Guatemala, the United Kingdom, Türkiye, and Brazil.  The KNDA panel convenes representatives of diplomatic missions in Seoul for an exchange on the practice of diplomacy and present the significance of their respective countries’ relations with the Republic of Korea to the newest cohort of Korean diplomats.
