PH AMBASSADOR MEETS WITH CLARK DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OFFICIALS ON OUTBOUND MISSION TO THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

31 May 2022, Seoul - PH Ambassador Maria Theresa B. Dizon-De Vega had a fruitful discussion with the officials of the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) on 23 May 2022 at the Sentro Rizal Boardroom of the chancery. The CDC delegation was headed by President and CEO PBGen. Manuel R. Gaerlan. Ambassador Dizon-De Vega was joined by Commercial Counselor Jose Ma. "Jojie" Dinsay and Defense Attaché Col Enriqueto Deocadez Jr.

CDC conducted an outbound business mission (OBM) to the Republic of Korea from 17-23 May 2022, primarily to promote Clark as a premiere investment destination to Korean investors.

The mission is a follow-up to the successful signing of the MOU on Clark Development Cooperation with the ROK Land and Housing Corporation last April 2022. During their visit, the delegation met with top Korean companies and held benchmarking activities with smart city developments and exhibition centers in ROK relative to CDC's plan to further develop Clark as a Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) destination. MWO-OWWA HOLDS ON-THE-SPOT SLOGAN AND POSTER MAKING CONTESTS FOR 31ST MIGRANT WORKERS DAY

Seoul, 7 June 2026 - As part of the pre-celebration activities for the 31st Migrant Workers Day, the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, through the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), successfully conducted the On-the-Spot Slogan Making Contest and On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest on 7 June 2026 at Sentro Rizal, Philippine Embassy in Seoul. Six participants competed in the slogan-making contest, while ten participants showcased their artistic talents in the poster-making contest. The contestants consisted of EPS Workers, Caregivers, and Professors all coming from different parts of Korea like Seoul, Gimpo, Hwaseong, Ansan, and Paju. The program also featured the special Migrant Workers Day messages of Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac and OWWA Administrator Patricia Yvonne “PY” Caunan, who recognized the invaluable contributions of OFWs and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to their welfare and protection.

EMPOWERING OFWS THROUGH ENTREPRENEURSHIP: PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN SEOUL HOLDS BUSINESS STRATEGY SEMINAR

PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR JOINS ASEAN COMMITTEE IN SEOUL IN A STUDY VISIT TO LOTTE R&D CENTER

Seoul, 28 May 2026 – Philippine Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, H.E. Bernadette Therese C.
