26 March 2026, Seoul - Ambassador Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez participated in the tour of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Korea on 23 March 2026. The invitation also included a courtesy call and luncheon with Justice Kim Hyungdu, the highest official following the Constitutional Court President. The Ambassadors of Canada, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Thailand, Uzbekistan, were also invited to take part in the activity.

The visit allowed participants to learn more about the role of the Constitutional Court of Korea in the promotion and protection of the rights of the citizens.

The Philippines and Korea share common ideals in the adherence to the rule of law and the promotion of the constitution as an instrument to protect the people. END
